About WattLibrary
This site started with a spreadsheet. Comparing power stations meant keeping fifteen browser tabs open, because every brand reports its numbers differently: one quotes surge wattage in the headline, another buries it in a PDF manual, a third invents its own name for boost mode. The spreadsheet kept growing until it made more sense to publish it.
Where the numbers come from
Manufacturer documentation, first and foremost: product pages, spec sheets, user manuals. Each listing links to its source. Where sources contradict each other (it happens more than you'd expect, sometimes on the manufacturer's own site), the listing is held back until we can resolve the conflict, and the discrepancy is noted.
How runtime estimates work
One formula, shown in the open: battery capacity, times 85% inverter efficiency, divided by the appliance's average draw. It's deliberately conservative. Compressor appliances like refrigerators cycle on and off, so real-world numbers usually come out better than our table. We'd rather you be pleasantly surprised than caught short during an outage.
Independence
No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements. No brand pays to be listed and no brand can pay to change its numbers. If that ever changes, the disclosure will be on every affected page, not buried here.

Spotted a wrong number? Tell us: hello@wattlibrary.com. Verified corrections ship within a day, and honestly, we're grateful for them. A database is only worth its accuracy.
